The Captain
Capt. Stuart Paterson is a third generation fisherman from The Huntington - Northport area. Having 25 plus years experience on the local water’s off the North Shore of Long Island you are in good hands. Capt. Stuart is a licensed U.S. Merchant Marine Captain. He is also certified for both First Aid and CPR.

Northport Charter’s fishes for most species in season but specialize in Bass & Fluke fishing. Capt. Paterson is an active member of The Huntington Angler’s fishing club and an active member in Montauk Surfcaster’s Association. An advocate of managing our fisheries here on the East Coast, Capt. Stuart and The President of MSA met with member’s of the NY State Assembly and Governor Spitzer’s Office in Albany this past Spring continuing to fight for and protect our local fisheries. The Boat
All trips are for 1-6 Angler’s on the ‘Dreamcatcher.’ If needed a second boat can be arranged for parties up to 11. A third boat can be arranged for parties up to sixteen and a fourth boat can be arranged for parties up to 22 people. Please, call us at least one (1) month ahead to make arrangements for large parties.

The ‘Dreamcatcher’ is a 27 foot Grady White fishing boat. Fully equipped with top of the line equipment including GPS, Fish finder/Depth sounder, Radar and a VHF Radio. The ‘Dreamcatcher’ is powered by twin Yamaha 225 horsepower outboards and is one of the quickest Charter boats on the North Shore of Long Island. We use top of the line Penn rods and Reels for your fishing experience.
